Using industry-leading data and analytics, Marsh Advisory identifies clients’ significant risks, quantifies their potential losses, and helps determine their risk appetite.

The Strategy & Financial Planning Associate will support the Marsh Advisory International Leadership team to analyze the financial performance of the business unit as well as structure and manage high-impact projects to drive our ambitious and innovative strategic plans. You will directly report to the International Strategy and Planning Director.

You will work with Marsh Advisory colleagues from several Regions (EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America) and other Marsh teams (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Sales).

This is an internal consulting role with emphasis on strategy, project management, and financial planning, not a client-facing role.

We will count on you for:

Strategy & Project Management

  • Lead strategic projects aimed at increasing profitability, solving critical business issues, and standardizing activities across different regions.
  • Collaborate with Practice Leaders, such as Cyber Risk Consulting and ESG Leaders, to develop innovative business strategies and solutions for our clients.
  • Lead market research efforts to identify potential M&A opportunities to expand our market presence.
  • Define and implement Talent Management activities, including Mobility Programs, Connectivity, and Training, with a focus on fostering growth, engagement, and development.
  • Prepare ad-hoc documents and presentations for internal meetings with Senior Leaders.

Financial Planning

  • Support management decision-making processes to achieve growth objectives and provide insightful reporting for effective communication and analysis
  • Develop and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and planning views, highlighting material variances, risks, opportunities, and a range of potential outcomes
  • Collaborate with Regional Advisory Leaders during the budget definition process and overall P&L activities

What you have:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Management, or Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience as a consultant or analyst in banking or insurance
  • Strong ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency and comfort in spoken and written English (at least C1 level), as most work is conducted in English
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office
