With a successful track record since 2020, they operate a robust online retail platform offering both subscription services and individual products. They have been featured in major publications and have built a reputation for excellent customer service and product quality.
Why this role exists
This position is crucial in supporting the accounting department's daily operations while managing e-commerce platform financials across multiple channels. The role ensures accurate financial record-keeping while facilitating smooth operational workflow between Amazon FBA, Shopify, and internal systems, requiring both accounting expertise and e-commerce platform knowledge.

The Impact you’ll make

Financial Operations
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Process basic invoicing
  • Handle expense filing
  • Support daily accounting operations
E-commerce Management
  • Update stock in Amazon FBA store
  • Manage Shopify inventory records
  • Track platform transactions
  • Reconcile e-commerce accounts
Administrative Support
  • Assist with meeting arrangements
  • Manage email communications
  • Research customer information
  • Support customer experience initiatives
System Management
  • Work with ERP system
  • Maintain records in ClickUp
  • Coordinate through Slack
  • Handle platform integrations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • 1+ years experience with e-commerce platforms
  • Proven experience with financial record-keeping
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software
  • WFH Set-Up:
    • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
    • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
    • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
    • Back-up computer and internet connection
    • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

What to expect...

Work Setup:
  • Remote position
  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
  • Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)
  • 40 hours per week
Compensation:
  • $7 per hour
  • No benefits package included
