About the Role
Our client, a company in creative industry is seeking a freelance motion graphics artist to produce a 120-second animated video for their upcoming Kickstarter campaign. The video will incorporate existing artwork and tell a scripted story about their product, with narration and music to be added in post-production. The project will involve developing captivating backgrounds and transitions to create an immersive atmosphere consistent with the company's psychedelic, 60s-inspired aesthetic.
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand the provided video outline, script, and existing assets
- Conceptualise and create visually stunning animated scenes and transitions based on the provided artwork and storyline
- Develop dynamic and engaging backgrounds that align with the company's preferred psychedelic, 60s rock-inspired style
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in motion graphics and animation production
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in creating psychedelic, surreal, or 60s-inspired animations
- Excellent understanding of colour theory, composition, and visual storytelling techniques
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into captivating animated visuals
