About the Role
Our client, A marketing company is seeking a freelance video editor with visual effects capabilities for a single project opportunity. The project will require the video editor to work remotely for the better part of a week. While this is a one-time project, the company may consider offering follow-up work to the right candidate. The company prefers to receive offers for the project budget and is open to hiring a junior or mid-level freelancer.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble video footage according to the company's specifications and style guidelines (style reference available on their YouTube channel).
- Incorporate visual effects and post-production techniques to enhance the visual quality and impact of the video.
- Collaborate with the company's team to understand the project requirements and creative vision.
- Ensure seamless integration of visual effects with the edited video footage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Knowledge and skills in applying visual effects and compositing techniques.
- Familiarity with visual effects software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Fusion) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
