About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented junior to mid-level graphic designer to create branding and label designs for their new product line. The design inspiration is derived from Japanese candy labels, aiming to emulate their style for our range of products. This project will involve creating labels for multiple products as well as potential marketing materials. The designs are a crucial aspect of this initiative, and we require someone who can proficiently capture our envisioned Japanese-inspired style.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the design aesthetics of Japanese candy labels to capture the desired style.
- Conceptualize and develop visually appealing label designs for multiple cannabis products within the product line.
- Incorporate design elements and graphics that evoke the Japanese candy label style while aligning with the brand's identity.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the designs meet the project requirements and brand guidelines.
- Potentially create additional marketing materials, such as brochures or social media graphics, to complement the product labels.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a portfolio showcasing proficiency in branding and label design projects.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Familiarity with Japanese design aesthetics and the ability to incorporate them into the product branding effectively.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple designs.
