About the Role
Our client, a creative animation studio seeking a junior animator to work on a new YouTube series. The series revolves around three teenagers who find themselves transported to Olympus as gods and their journey to prove their worth. The animator's role will be to bring the story to life in a unique style inspired by the Ramshackles, cartoons, and Hazbin Hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Animate character movements and actions based on the provided storyboards and character designs
- Incorporate portrayal of mythical beings and elements from Greek mythology
- Demonstrate proficiency in drawing and animating wheelchair-bound characters
- Animate background elements such as subways and other environments
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand and interpret the desired art style
Requirements
- Basic animation skills and experience in 2D animation
- Familiarity with animation software
- Ability to draw and animate characters, including those with disabilities (wheelchair)
- Understanding of character design principles and ability to maintain consistent styles
- Knowledge of mythological themes and creatures (Greek mythology)
