We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of Enterprise Account Management, professional services delivery and building successful relationship with senior management in Energy Services and Energy management sectors. A proven record of managing customer expectations, driving growth, and a desire to use innovative and creative approaches to identifying and solving customer problems will help with your success in this role. It is an exciting opportunity to roll up your sleeves and help grow an established name in the market that still offers a high-energy, start-up feel.

In this Role, you will be responsible for new business generation with large National accounts (Retail, Restaurants, Banks, other multi-site operators).

This role will also require understanding of new age technologies in the Connected Building space (IoT, Big Data, Cloud integration, BMS Integration, HVAC integration, AI in this space, remote management) and the impact that such technologies can ensure from Sustainability perspective.

This role may sit anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a main contact with prospects, develops a professional relationship and understands the customer needs to suggest products and/or services to meet the customer’s needs.

  • Leads business development activities for prospects within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.

  • Identifies bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, negotiates with potential customers and builds and maintains customer relationships to win projects.

  • Contacts new customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.

  • Participates as the management team representative on prospective target accounts. Establishes personal long-term customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.

  • Attends and presents at trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization.

  • 50% travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 8+ years of solution selling, SaaS and/or new business Development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA.

  • Energy Management / Energy Services/ connected buildings space.

  • Experience in engaging senior management.
