Product Engineering Manager – Remote – Canada

Aspire Software is looking to hire a talented and experienced Product Engineering Manager to join our growing team!

In this unique role, you will report to the COO and be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to software development, QA, and launch. As the Product Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technical vision, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse technical background in both legacy and modern tech stacks.

What your day will look like:

Product Management:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap, aligned with business objectives and customer needs
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation
  • Develop and prioritize user stories and product features
  • Work closely with designers and stakeholders to create a user-centric product experience
  • Own the product launch process, ensuring a smooth and successful go-to-market strategy
  • Track product performance metrics and iterate based on user data and feedback

Engineering Management:

  • Lead a team of talented engineers (8), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Partner with product managers (3) to translate product requirements into technical specifications
  • Develop and implement a development process that is efficient, scalable, and agile
  • Establish clear goals and performance expectations for the teams
  • Hire, onboard, and mentor top engineering talent
  • Oversee technical execution and ensure code quality is maintained
  • Manage technical debt and work with the team to implement solutions

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Software Engineering leadership roles
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is essential
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling SaaS products
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Passion for building innovative products and a deep understanding of user needs
  • Fluent in English is essential
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
