Our Digital Transformation Consulting Division (DTD) specializes in high-end consulting that is solving the federal government’s hardest problems by delivering performance-based and outcome-driven digital transformation solutions. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, career and team-oriented Program Manager in support of The Department of Defense (DoD). This position will be remote.
The Program Management established at the program level by the government defines, manages, and executes processes and planned activities within cost, schedule, and performance parameters in rapid and incremental manner.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Through subordinate program/project managers, lead and supervise the overall delivery of service support to; transport operations, maintenance management, change and configuration management, and deployment of transport infrastructure
- Direct the practice of monitoring and controlling of project performance, to include metrics reporting, trends analysis, and project reporting to Government customers, ManTech leadership, and project/portfolio stakeholders.
- Oversee staffing management, including recruiting, hiring, training, retention, assignments, and ensuring labor qualification and security clearance requirements are met.
- Oversee and coordinate deliverables submissions to Government customer.
- Assist the customer in strategic planning to include, but not limited to staff allocation needs, contingency planning and continuity of operations, budget forecasts and projections, planned costs to actual and verification of invoices prior to submission.
- Provide task order highlights to the customer, as they occur, that depict major accomplishments, e.g., reaching a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Act as a single point of contact to the customer.
- Provide status reports/briefings to customer stakeholders upon request and in support of executive level meetings or briefings.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of operations work activities and change requests, including providing customer Task Managers with consolidated views of teamwork activities.
- Assist customer Task Managers with conducting technical meetings, including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, distributing meeting agendas, recording, and distributing meeting minutes, facilitating meetings, and tracking action items, issues, and decisions.
- Assist customers with data entry of assets into the asset portfolio management system.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, leadership, strong work ethic, teamwork, and competent writing and oral communication skills
- Ensure quality products and services are delivered timely and accurately
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of agile program management experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Candidates background should demonstrate a deep understanding of organizational design, human capital management, and training and recruiting development methodologies.
- This role requires someone who can effectively translate military principles into civilian contexts, fostering a culture of efficiency and excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background with Department of Defense-centric IT infrastructure
- Background working with federal agencies, particularly those with experience in human capital management
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to program management, HCM technology, and IT transformations
- Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are beneficial
- Advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Knowledge of IT Service Management practices through ITIL certification can be advantageous
Security Clearance Requirements:
- US citizenship with an current/active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
