Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and a keen eye for identifying defects. You will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software usability and functionality.
- Automate repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Maintain and update test documentation and reports.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with different testing techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
