Marsh Mclennan is looking for a PMO and Process Improvement Manager based in the Gurgaon/Noida

What can you expect?

  • Project Resource Management:

Leads the End-to-End Resource Onboarding, Management and Budget Governance

Develop and mentor project managers and other project team members to defined standards for resource governance and tracking

Project Portfolio related Administration in PlanView tool

  • Financial & Budget Management:

Maintain and ensure governance for IT Budgeting & Forecasting

Acts as a leader accountable for financial accounting and client satisfaction

  • Practice Development:

Work closely with senior stakeholders in and manage internal projects, initiatives to drive transformation across the organization

Use and continuously improve standard process and achieve productivity improvements through application of repeatable best practice methodologies and optimum resource management.

Champions teamwork and knowledge sharing; contributes to the project management community, methodologies and best practices.

Ensures effective execution and management of projects in the large MMC Tech project portfolio

Coordinates with senior management on innovation forum of various technologies thus generating greater client value

  • Stakeholder Relationship:

Act as the primary contact for the stakeholder maintaining close communication to ensure delivery to schedule and issues addressed.

Provides a focus on Service Level Agreement (SLA) definition and customer satisfaction. Ensures information systems and structures to achieve SLA are in place.

High stakeholder management with both onshore and offshore teams throughout the various transition stages

We will count on you to:

  • Manage engagement with stakeholders on various activities like budgeting, forecast & actuals evaluation, resource management etc
  • Act as escalation point for Leadership team
  • Strong accounting principles, financial principles required
  • Define the overall scope of projects, create and maintain a consolidated timeline highlighting the major milestones and associated dates for project activities. Identify and communicate project dependencies and impacts. Ensure success criteria is defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected project outcomes.
  • Create metrics, reporting’s to drive accountability.
  • Provides input and feedback to key leadership about process improvement opportunities. Ability to mediate and make pragmatic compromises especially in light of multiple Stakeholders competing for resources in order to meet their business deadlines. The role will need good project & stakeholder management skills to handle the complex dependency management and diverse stakeholders to deliver services on time and on strategy

What you need to have?

  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Hands on experience in working with Planview is a must
  • Good communication, analytical and management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, financial principles
  • Effective/Accurate and timely reporting skills
  • Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word)
  • Ability to multi task and should be a self starter
  • Ability to handle difficult client situations and derive strategic solutions
