Senior Professional Learning Specialist, Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT)

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Professional Learning Specialist for our TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers) Seller Engagement Team.

As a Senior Professional Learning Specialist, you will work as part of the TPT Seller Engagement team to deliver high-quality webinars and live in-person events that support TPT’s dedicated and innovative Teacher-Author community members as they grow and develop their businesses.

You must be a natural presenter and people person, highly organized, creative, well-spoken, and have a desire to be part of a collaborative, high-energy team.

This is a full time, remote position for candidates within the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Deliver engaging live and recorded webinars to support TPT Teacher-Authors
• Travel regionally to deliver high-quality professional development sessions for TPT Teacher-Authors – up to 30% possible travel (some weekend travel is required)
• Organize and coordinate live events
• Help in the planning and execution of TPT Forward, our annual conference
• Participate in initiatives that support and engage TPT’s Teacher-Author community
• Develop a deep understanding and knowledge of the TPT seller community
• Build relationships with Teacher-Authors around the world
• Provide seller insights and feedback to internal teams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• BA/BS degree
• Must have 5+ years experience teaching in a K-12 setting
• Experience leading professional development
• Familiarity with TPT as a buyer and/or seller
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
• Self-starter with the ability to plan and build timelines, prioritize tasks, and act resourcefully to resolve problems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience using Google Apps and Zoom
• Must live close to a major airport
