POSITION: Shipping Product Manager (multiple openings)
JOB DUTIES: Build and scale logistical practices to process more transactions per day while working to democratize selling by minimizing the hassles and confusions of the shipping process. Identify and build capabilities that improve the quality of the shipping experience in which leads to improvements in efficiency, speed, and cost. Lead a team of Engineers and Designers in helping to maintain the roadmap of each product, managing sprints, and driving the team toward achieving goals. Drive day to day execution of product initiatives that align with short, medium, and long-term strategy while communicating updates to all relevant stakeholders. Responsible for setting complex short and long-term strategies with far reaching impact for an entire product team. Remote work permitted.
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
SALARY:
Zone 1: $186,096.04 - $218,500
Zone 2: $186,096.04 - $196,700
Zone 3: $186,096.04

REQUIREMENTS
Main Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Statistics, Quantitative Management, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Shipping Product Manager, Product Manager, Program Manager, Facilities Managers, Business Analyst or a closely related occupation.
Alternate Requirement: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and five (5) years of stated experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in stated fields and three (3) years of stated experience.
Special Skills: Also requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
- E-commerce logistics and API integrations;
- Using data and metrics to inform decision-making with Looker, Tableau, A/B testing, SQL, other BI tools or similar technologies.
- Understanding of nuanced shipping carrier regulations and data;
- Working with machine learning to build robust suggestions and prediction models using data;
- Working directly with shipping carrier partners; and
- Closely collaborating with UI/UX Designers.
