Job Description
Responsibilities
Keep an overarching view of the existing architecture of our Autodoc services and provide technical advisory
Support teams on the migration from PHP monolith to the new microservice architecture (50+ services)
Support the domains on the design and review of technical solutions for high-load, high-traffic, and fast response time
Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to the teams
Contribute to establishing governance processes and guidelines around the domains and microservices
Drive AUTODOC from a technical perspective and keep yourself current with new technologies
Collaborate with multiple interdisciplinary teams within AUTODOC to understand the business context and create scalable solutions
Requirements
9 years+ of experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications - OOP and SOLID principles
Proven experience as a tech lead
High-quality organizational and leadership skills
Technical mindset with great attention to detail
Experience with microservices and cloud architectures - Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems that impact various processes and outcomes. Can provide guidance to other team members
Serves as an advisor and utilizes their knowledge of strategies referring to their own function and area of expertise
English intermediate (B1)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with guidance in only the most complex situations
