Job Description

Based in AL, FL, GA area, with occasional travel to other regions, the Routing/Switching Technical Consultant (TC) is responsible for following defined procedures and methodologies to install, configure, test, maintain and support hardware and software solutions, including problem identification, system architecture definition / specification, implementation, basic integration, validation and verification testing, customer education, solution activation, and system restoration.

Your role:

  • The Routing/Switching Technical Consultant owns all services and consultation pertaining to networks and their relevance to the Philips patient monitoring solutions.
  • We are specifically looking for an IT network professional to handle all routing/switching services and consultative efforts where it pertains to Philips solutions.
  • The Technical Consultant provides pre-sales and post-sales technical support of Philips patient monitoring solutions in their specialized assigned domain (Routing/Switching) through consultation, configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

You're the right fit if:

  • CCNP Enterprise with Cisco R/S concentration certifications are required. Significant progress toward professional level certifications may be considered.
  • Demonstration of skills sets from completion of one or more of the following courses are preferred: ENCOR, DCAC9K, IP6FD, ICM and CSCGW.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 5+ years combination of customer service and technical experience required - preferably within healthcare.
  • Understanding of industry standard server, wireless, Security, or routing and switching knowledge. Knowledge of Philips solutions preferred.
  • The ability to translate customer specifications and existing infrastructure working patient monitoring solutions.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
