Job Description

PURPOSE

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion while also leading change management initiatives within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with expertise in change management methodologies and practices. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively drive project success and facilitate organizational change.

Duties:

Project Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Change Management

  • Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and interventions to support organizational initiatives and objectives.
  • Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to understand the effects of change and develop tailored approaches for managing resistance.
  • Engage with employees at all levels to promote awareness, understanding, and acceptance of change initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to enable effective change leadership and communication.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of change management efforts and adjust strategies as needed to drive successful outcomes.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead by example and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams and across the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and key decision-makers to gain support and alignment for project and change initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their project management and change management capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas, such as HR, IT, and operations, to ensure integration and alignment of project and change efforts with broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, organizational psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and leading change initiatives in a corporate environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading teams and driving collaboration in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing ambiguity and navigating organizational change.
