We’re looking for a motivated professional with a background in underwriting or healthcare, data analysis experience, and a desire to build a career with us. In this role, you’ll support our underwriting and business partners in making informed medical underwriting decisions, helping determine eligibility for employee insurance. You’ll manage critical data and support various insurance products, all while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Hourly Wage: $19.25 - $23.50 plus annual bonus opportunity.

- Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
- Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
- Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2025, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2025 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Data Management: Review, verify, and enter critical data accurately, directly impacting underwriting decisions. Attention to detail is essential for high-quality output.
- Customer Service: Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional service while staying informed about industry guidelines and practices.
- Communication: Clearly communicate via phone, email, and other channels, ensuring all correspondence is professional and precise.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation that complies with state regulations, supporting accurate and effective risk evaluation.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for efficiency, actively participating in team discussions and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Underwriting or Healthcare Experience: Background in underwriting, healthcare, or insurance with a passion for building a career in underwriting.
- Data Analysis Skills: Comfortable working with data and proficient in Excel for managing and analyzing information.
- Insurance Background: Experience with an insurance carrier or related industry is a plus.
- Customer Focus & Attention to Detail: Ability to address customer needs with urgency and a sharp eye for detail.
- Adaptability & Strong Communication Skills: Skilled at multitasking, working under pressure, and clear, concise communication.

- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
