About the Role

We are seeking an experienc video editor for a leading company specialising in creating high-quality educational products and professional development tools.

  • Conceptualize, create, and edit high-quality video content for the company’s YouTube channel.
  • Write YouTube descriptions for video projects and ensure messaging clarity.
  • Film, edit, and produce video content using industry-standard equipment and software.
  • Stay informed about digital media trends and YouTube algorithms for content optimization.
  • Manage and grow the YouTube channel while implementing best practices for audience engagement and monetization.
  • Edit audio files to enhance sound quality and clarity.
  • Meet deadlines, align content with brand guidelines, and monitor video performance metrics for optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a YouTube creator and video editor with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in video and audio editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, or Audacity.
  • Keen eye for detail with a deep understanding of visual and auditory storytelling principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of YouTube best practices, SEO techniques, and content monetization strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Asana and Zoho Cliq preferred but not required.
