Department Overview:
Campus and Visitor Relations serves as the welcoming front door to University of Wisconsin-Madison and the official destination for campus and community information. Our work includes providing campus information, campus tours, and specialty visits. Students who work as the Campus Visit Program Specialist coordinate group visits.Although we all work as a team, the Campus Visit Program Specialist is not a campus Tour Guide. That position is a separate role and applications for that position will open mid-October.

Onboarding for this position is expected to begin in January 2025. Availability during Spring and Summer 2025 is required; 12-15 hours per week during the academic year and 10-20+ hours per week during the summer. Scheduling is flexible and based on your class schedule. Campus Visit Program hours are Monday - Friday, approx. 8:30am to 4:30pm.Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Required to be eligible for this position:-Must be a current UW-Madison student and have one semester of on-campus experience by time of hire.
-Available to attend in-person new guide training January 14-17, 2025.
-Available to work during spring and summer 2025, with the opportunity to continue working in future semesters.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Field Campus Visit Program related phone calls and email inquiries and make routine calls.
-Communicate with campus outreach partners to coordinate campus visits.
-Assist with the development and maintenance of the Campus Visit Program google docs and event registration system.
-Present at Information and Tour Guide Training during training week and staff meetings.
-Miscellaneous projects and tasks to support the greater operations of Campus and Visitor Relations.
