Position Summary/Job Duties:

Seeking an undergraduate student to assist in providing computer support to students, faculty and staff. Twenty hours per week during summer break and up to 10 during fall and spring semesters. Principal duties:
• Resolve as many support requests as expertise permits using available tools, and following procedures and policies for the handling of support requests.
• Courteously obtain and convey concise information for external and internal computer support personnel.
• Demonstrate consistently good customer service skills.
• Provide accurate and timely logging of support requests and resolution of requests in the ticketing system.
• Document changes made to ECE Department computer systems and software.
• Maintain communications with users and support personnel during the support process.
• Complete projects as assigned by ECE Department computer support.
• Utilize float time to develop and maintain knowledge of supported products and services.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
