The Opportunity:

This role is to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of Rim projects within the organization. Project Manager/Product Development is responsible for designing, sourcing Single Use consumables and hardware across upstream to downstream in bioprocessing, as well as coordinating the local resource to build up partnership with vendors. The role plays a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams, communicating with stakeholders, and driving project progress to achieve desired outcomes. The project manager/Product Development needs to define project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables, as well as coordinates resources, manages risks, and ensures project success. The primary goal of the Project Manager/Product Development is to deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards, while meeting Rim China Strategy expectations and organizational goals. By applying project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, Project Manager/Product Development facilitates effective project execution, collaboration, and problem-solving to drive project success and contribute to the overall success of the organization and China Strategy.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor's degree or above in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, project management, business administration, MBA preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS: N/A

EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years’ experience in Bioprocessing as a business/project manager, SU business owner, managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in project management tools, software, and methodologies to streamline project workflows and optimize project outcomes.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset to drive project success and deliverables.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are important as this position interacts and prepares reports for various levels of management.
  • Hands-on experience working with manufacturing-based processes and principles.
  • Formal training and experience in continuous improvement methods including 6 sigma or lean manufacturing preferred.

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE AND CREATE AN IMPACT:

  • Lead the Rim bags and hardware products design to expand Rim products portfolio.
  • Develop the products application meet the customer request in line with country regulations.
  • Build up partnership with corresponding portfolio vendors.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate project delays or deviations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Lead and motivate project team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and reports to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and milestones.
  • Evaluate project performance against key metrics and KPI, and make recommendations for process improvements and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing to enhance project delivery capabilities and organizational effectiveness.
