About this role

EcoEnergy Insights is looking for an Engineering Technical Specialist with Energy Management Control Solution (EMS) and deployment background. Experience in managing multi-site system integration /energy management programs and ability to address the different/various levels of energy management queries of customers is crucial to this role. Knowledge of Energy Management Products available in the market is one of the requirements for this role. The role may involve 20% national travel during the construction phase of the programs. This position is published as a remote position but preference would be given to a candidate who is based out of Atlanta Georgia or open to relocate if needed in future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control & Electrical: Develop EMS & Electrical architecture, solutions, product stacks, evaluate and develop new Building Automation & Energy Management solutions
  • Technical Solution Support: Review & recommend EMS System Integration; technical set-up and oversee deployment remotely/onsite
  • Sales & Presales Support: Work with Sales & Presales team to develop optimal EMS solution for prospects and existing clients
  • Energy Management: Address various levels of energy related queries
  • Technical Support for CORTIX Stack: Support technical integration of CORTIX stack with EMS solution(s)
  • Other: Actions related to team coordination, client connect, and reporting

Basic Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree in Controls and Automation or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years plus of work experience in Energy Management System Integration, Control Deployment, Electrical and Control Architecture & Solution development
  • 3 years plus of work experience in Tridium Stack Solutions i.e. hardware, software, & licensing
  • 3 years plus of field experience in electrical and control solution deployment

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Experience in multiple Control Solutions i.e. Schneider, Honeywell, Trane, Novar, Viconics, etc.
  • Manage 2+ multisite projects or large site projects for Energy Management System and System Integration
  • Awareness of the interlock of Electrical and Energy Management Systems with IT Architecture
  • High-level understanding of Project Management aspects
  • Able to directly interact with customer
  • Work with different teams and at different levels
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
