  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST (10:00 PM to 2:00 AM Manila time)

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile and adaptable Graphic Designer / Admin to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role primarily focuses on creating engaging, child-friendly graphic designs for our educational materials, but also requires strong administrative skills to support our operations during periods of lower design demand. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the seasonal nature of the design work and excel in both creative and administrative tasks.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
  1. Graphic Design (seasonal intensity)
    • Create vibrant, child-friendly graphic designs for marketing materials and educational content
    • Develop visuals for online courses, virtual events, and promotional campaigns
    • Ensure brand consistency across all design elements
    • Be prepared for intense periods of design work followed by quieter periods
  2. Administrative Support
    • Provide general administrative assistance, including calendar management, data entry, and document preparation
    • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Assist in preparing reports and presentations as needed
    • Take on increased administrative responsibilities during periods of lower design demand
  3. Website Management
    • Maintain and update our WordPress website, including adding new events and programs
    • Optimize website design for user experience and mobile responsiveness
  4. Digital Asset Management
    • Organize and maintain our digital asset library
    • Create and manage a system for easy retrieval of design files and resources
  5. Marketing Support
    • Assist with digital marketing efforts by uploading program information to various online platforms
    • Design social media graphics and email newsletter templates


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
  • Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio, especially showcasing work appealing to children
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Excellent administrative skills with experience in office management, data entry, or similar roles
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic web development skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing workloads and task types
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
