We're seeking a dedicated Photo Editor to focus exclusively on creating editorial-quality visual content for our luxury brand client. This role is specifically focused on photo editing and visual content creation, with no administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to create sophisticated, high-end visuals inspired by luxury fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent, elevating the brand's presence across digital platforms.
The Impact you’ll make
Photo Editing & Visual Creation- Edit photos using Adobe or professional editing software (excluding Canva)
- Create editorial-style imagery inspired by luxury fashion houses
- Develop sophisticated product collages for "shop my account" features
- Maintain a consistent luxury aesthetic across all visuals
- Prepare and format content for Instagram
- Create engaging Pinterest layouts and collections
- Format visual content for Substack publications
- Assemble content using provided links and images
- Follow provided creative direction and inspiration
- Maintain editorial quality in all deliverables
- Ensure consistency with luxury brand aesthetics
- Create cohesive visual narratives
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:- 2+ years of experience in:
- Professional photo editing (Adobe or similar tools)
- Luxury or fashion industry content creation
- Editorial photography editing
- Social media platform content development
- Must provide a portfolio demonstrating editorial work
- Must submit CV with relevant experience
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Technical: Expert in Adobe editing suite (excluding Canva)
- Creative: Strong editorial eye, luxury aesthetic understanding
- Industry: Fashion and lifestyle content experience
- Platforms: Instagram, Pinterest, Substack expertise
- You have proven experience in luxury fashion content creation
- Your portfolio demonstrates high-end editorial work
- You're passionate about sophisticated visual storytelling
- You can dedicate focused time to pure editing work
Work Setup:
- Remote position
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
- Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)
- 20 hours a week
- $7 per hour
