Role Description

As a Financial Operations Lead specializing in Order to Cash (O2C), you'll champion efficiency and effectiveness in our revenue cycle. You'll partner with Billing Operations and Accounting to ensure a smooth flow of transactions from the moment a customer subscribes to the collection of the payment and posting in SAP. Your past experience as an O2C Lead will play a pivotal role in building and leading this function from the start within our Financial Operations group. You’ll design and implement processes for order initiation to cash collection, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience and timely and accurate revenue recognition, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

In this role, you'll:

  • Build and manage the Order to Cash (O2C) financial operations team.
  • Design, document, and implement efficient and effective O2C processes, including credits, adjustments, collections, and cash application and reconciliation.
  • Oversee and execute day to day operations related to the Accounts Receivable and revenue functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication throughout the O2C life cycle.
  • Implement controls for risk mitigation, building a strong control environment.
  • Identify and implement process automation opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in Financial Operations, specifically around the accounts receivable and revenue cycle, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue to cash, accounts receivable management, and/or revenue operations.
  • Ability to design and implement efficient financial processes that establish a control environment and integrations.
  • Subscription billing tool (e.g., Zuora, Ayden, Revcore) and SAP (or similar tools/systems) knowledge.
  • Experience collaborating with teams across different geographical locations especially in a remote setting.
  • Experience working with technical partners for system implementations.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience in building and leading a financial operations team.
  • Experience driving process improvement and other project management experience.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, IBM).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $149,000 - $218,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
