What’s in Store
We're on the lookout for a Reengineering IT Analyst. As a Reengineering IT Analyst, you will be driving innovation and efficiency by analyzing, redesigning, and improving business processes and IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across departments to implement impactful solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with developers and business stakeholders to identify, document and communicate key business needs
- Creation of artefacts, reports and frameworks to create a “Digital Twin” of Business Operations
- Coordinate, develop and document detailed business specifications to support system development and testing
- Lead, participate in and document (as needed) business requirement gathering meetings & workshops
- Learning to use a cutting-edge new Business Process engineering tool called “BusinessOptix”
- Identifying, developing and documenting opportunities to optimize business processes through use of technology
- Provide guidance and assist in test execution and documentation of results.
- Assist developers in determining the cause of system problems
- Develop or assist in the development of end user reports.
- Review enhancement recommendations and determine both the benefit of the proposed change and the cost benefit (e.g., time to develop) of implementing the change
- Inform users of changes/enhancements to the system.
- Coordinate and develop/enhance training materials.
- Schedule, implement and provide system/system enhancements training.
- Provide end user support Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with the team, other co-workers, clients and vendors
This role is a full-time, remote position.
Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
- Ability to work independently at pace, but not afraid to ask for support or guidance when needed!
- Eager to learn new techniques and methods and adopt them
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Visio, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience of mapping detailed business processes to document end to end service delivery
- An advantage but not essential:
- Some SQL knowledge
- Understanding of technical architecture mapping
