Job Highlights:

  • Schedule: 20 hours per week
  • Can work on their own schedule as long as they will be available 2-4 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Dallas TX Time for team meetings

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Content Creator to help grow and manage the social media presence of two distinct brands within the home improvement industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, and be able to create engaging content from scratch that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging and creative content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, including reels, stories, posts, and videos.
  • Utilize bulk photos and videos provided of home improvement projects to craft trendy and fun reels and other platform-specific content
  • Post content on social media platforms, following best practices for each platform (timing, hashtags, and engagement strategies).
  • Be self-sufficient and manage content creation and posting with minimal guidance, but collaborate with the client as needed for creative direction.
  • Understand platform-specific metrics to track the success of posts and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Offer creative input and ideas for future content and branding, including suggesting potential voice-overs or other creative elements for future posts.
  • Meet 2-4 hours per week (CST) for check-ins and team meetings to discuss goals, content plans, and progress.
  • Manage and adhere to a flexible schedule while ensuring timely content production and posting (2-3 pieces of content per week).


Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media content creation, particularly on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including best times to post, posting frequency, and platform-specific engagement strategies.
  • Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content with provided media (photos/videos).
  • Strong editing skills to produce high-quality content for reels and posts.
  • Creative and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to adapt content to fit the tone and branding of two distinct brands.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet content creation deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and engaging primarily with the client for feedback and guidance.
