Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm Queensland Time with 1 hour unpaid break

Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Support Specialist to join our dynamic consulting firm in the mining industry. This pivotal role combines executive support with strategic business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage communications, support strategic planning, and enable growth initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Communications and Relationship Management

  • Manage executive email communications and calendar scheduling.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including asset presidents and team members.
  • Arrange and oversee business travel logistics.
  • Maintain a lead-nurturing system via LinkedIn and webinar follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on social media engagement to maximize business opportunities.

Strategic Planning and Business Development

  • Support strategic planning, including implementing The One Page Strategic Plan (TOPS).
  • Assist with product development, marketing, and joint venture coordination.
  • Prepare briefings for high-stakes meetings and track strategic initiatives.

Administrative Leadership

  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage expense tracking and financial documentation.
  • Coordinate internal communications and meeting structures.
  • Oversee weekly reporting and time tracking processes.
  • Handle personal administrative tasks for executive efficiency.

Team Coordination

  • Prepare for and follow up on daily huddles and weekly team meetings.
  • Track action items and ensure completion.
  • Liaise between the executive and back-office teams (HR, finance, business systems).
  • Support quarterly team reviews and planning sessions.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Strategic Support Specialist in a B2B or consulting environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in email management, calendar tools, and LinkedIn for business.
  • Experience with CRM systems, SOP creation, and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in video recording/documentation tools (e.g., Komodo).
  • Strong organizational skills and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the mining industry and Australian business culture.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Teamwork platforms, and TOPS methodology.
