Position : (Accounts Receivable) AR Assistant
Working Hours : M-F , 8:30am - 5:30pm EST
Salary Range : $1200- $1500
Holidays : Mostly US Holidays

Scope of the role:
The AR Assistant supports the Finance department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, collections, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers and vendors via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide support and information on transactions.
- Responds timely and professionally to all internal and external inquiries.
- Timely processing and accuracy of all transactions.
- Accounts Receivable duties include:
Invoice Processing
- Collection efforts of past due accounts.
- Payment Processing.
- Monitoring and resolving all emails to the AR inbox.
- Assist with B2B Customer issues.
Credit Card Disputes:
- Responding to disputes from Stripe before deadlines.
- Pulling backup documents needed for each case.
- Canceling subs of loss disputes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience as an AR assistant or any similar position.
- Proficiency in tools: Sage Intacct (accounting platform), Stripe (transaction engine), Avalara (tax engine), in-house administrative tool (reconciling payments against orders), Shipstation, Skuvault, Google Suite, Zoom Phone, Slack
- Excellent communication skills including active listening and empathy.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work proactively and independently while staying on task.
- Perform data entry quickly and accurately with attention to detail.
