Job Description
As a Lead Generation Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our client’s exciting transition to direct sales in the wireless industry. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying and connecting with cell phone and electronic stores across various geographic regions. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your research, communication, and sales skills while gaining invaluable experience in the thriving mobile technology sector. Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted research to identify potential clients in the cell phone and electronics retail sector
- Gather and organize comprehensive contact information for prospective clients
- Initiate contact with potential clients to collect preliminary information and assess needs
- Document product offerings of various stores (e.g., Metro, T-Mobile, AT&T, televisions)
- Adapt research focus to different geographic areas as directed by management
- Maintain and update a robust database of leads and potential clients
- Generate regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes
- Contribute to the development and refinement of lead generation strategies
- Potential to transition into more sales-focused responsibilities over time, potential for performance based commissions.
Requirements
- Strong research skills with ability to find and validate information efficiently
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using internet research tools and managing databases
- Basic understanding of the wireless industry and mobile phone market
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Adaptability to focus on different geographic areas as needed
- Comfort with making initial client contact and conducting preliminary conversations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent software
- Analytical mindset to evaluate lead quality and potential
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus
- Ability to meet weekly/monthly lead generation targets
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role and potentially transition into sales
