Product Team Assistant

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM New Zeland (4:00 AM – 1:00 PM Manila time) (8 hours per day/40 hours per week)

• Assist in managing the Scrum team responsible for developing VR and desktop medical simulations.

• Coordinate with a small, diverse team including software engineers and product owners

• Utilize JIRA for task management and ticket organization

• Communicate with international vendors and team members

• Assist with product owner tasks such as writing and cleaning up JIRA tickets

• Adapt to changing project needs.

Requirements

• Experience in project management, preferably in software development

• Familiarity with JIRA and agile methodologies

• Strong communication skills, able to work with a diverse, international team

• Adaptability and willingness to take on multiple roles as needed

• Interest in or experience with virtual reality and/or medical education technology

• Ability to work full-time for the initial 5-month project

• Lead the development of VR and desktop medical simulation software

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables

• Coordinate between product owners, software engineers, and international vendors

• Assist in product ownership tasks and JIRA ticket management
