This is a remote position.

Scope:


  • Initially manage social media for two businesses, with potential to expand to more

  • Work full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility to adjust hours as needed

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media strategy with overall business goals

  • Participate in weekly virtual team meetings and company culture activities

  • Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and schedule social media content for multiple business accounts

  • Create and publish engaging blog posts twice weekly

  • Respond to comments and messages across all social media platforms

  • Handle email marketing campaigns and create newsletters

  • Monitor and respond to online inquiries, forwarding qualified leads to the sales team

  • Track and report on social media performance and engagement metrics

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different industries

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and newsletter creation
