Key Responsibilities:
Photographer Sourcing:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of professional photographers tailored to the organization’s content requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential photographers through various channels such as online portfolios, professional networks, and industry events.
- Conduct due diligence to ensure photographers meet the creative, technical, and professional standards of the organization.
Photographer Onboarding:
- Manage the onboarding process by gathering all necessary documentation, including contracts, portfolios, and payment details.
- Educate photographers on brand guidelines, project expectations, and workflows to ensure seamless integration.
- Establish strong working relationships with photographers to foster a collaborative environment.
Shoot Coordination:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee the logistics of content shoots to meet project deadlines and creative objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for photographers, ensuring they have all necessary information, including creative briefs, schedules, and logistics.
- Proactively resolve any scheduling conflicts or logistical issues that arise during shoot planning or execution.
Quality Assurance and Feedback:
- Review completed work to ensure it aligns with brand standards and project goals.
- Provide constructive feedback to photographers to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain a performance database to track photographer quality and suitability for future projects.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain organized records of all photographer contracts, schedules, and project outcomes.
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing the progress of shoots, photographer performance, and any challenges encountered.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role involving photography, project coordination, or content production.
- Proven track record in managing freelance relationships or creative vendor partnerships.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with photographers and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to handling logistical and scheduling challenges.
- Basic knowledge of photography, including styles, techniques, and industry trends.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and digital communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
