We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Sales team. This role will work closely with our SMB and enterprise prospects and showcase/ demonstrate the value proposition of the Wati product and help bring new business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background of sales prospecting that involves reaching out to new leads, qualify them and push them further down the sales funnel and doing product demonstrations.

What you’ll do:

  • Acquisition through client demonstrations
  • Host and record webinars across verticals that WATI serves
  • Inside Sales to qualify prospects and create sales pipeline
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential prospects
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives
  • Report to the Sales leadership on sales results

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience working with CRM tools such as Hubspot/ Salesforce etc.
  • Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Experience connecting and selling to senior executives within large organizations.
  • Track record of high performance and extremely satisfied customers.
  • Experience working with a SaaS/Startup environment preferred.
