We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to own and optimize our client's marketing automation systems, with a primary focus on Mailchimp and Zapier integrations. This role is crucial for maintaining effective communication flows with our community while managing various digital platforms and operational processes. The position requires someone who can handle both technical implementation and continuous improvement of existing systems, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
The Impact you’ll make
Email Marketing & Automation (Primary Focus)- Design and manage complex Mailchimp automation journeys
- Create and optimize email marketing campaigns
- Manage audience segmentation and tagging
- Build and maintain Zapier workflows for cross-platform integration
- Monitor and improve email performance metrics
- Create sophisticated automation workflows between platforms
- Update and maintain Squarespace website content and assets
- Set up and monitor Google Analytics
- Manage Eventbrite event creation and tracking
- Manage Instagram content and analytics
- Create and document standard operating procedures
- Research and implement new tools and technologies
- Set up comprehensive online event workflows including:
- Zoom meeting management
- Registration processes
- Automated email campaigns
- Attendee communications
- Edit podcast episodes
- Design visual assets using Canva for marketing materials
- Implement and optimize AI tools for various processes
- Maintain organized digital assets across platforms
- Research and test new tools for process improvement
- Provide calendar management support
- Conduct thorough research for hiring creative roles (brand designer, social media manager)
- Organize and manage documentation for:
- Visa applications and related processes
- Tax documentation (invoices, receipts)
- Email organization and filing
- Create and maintain systematic filing structures
- Support general operational tasks
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced expertise with Mailchimp email marketing platform
- Strong knowledge of Zapier and automation workflows
- Proven experience with multiple digital platforms
- Experience with AI tools and automation
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and document management
- Track record of managing complex operational processes
- Experience with content management systems (especially Squarespace)
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection

Work Setup:
- Remote position
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
- Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM GMT (London Time)
- 20 hours a week
